GIALLO SANGUE [BLOOD YELLOW] IS MY SOLO AND MULTIDISCIPLINARY PROJECT, WHERE I COMPOSE AND ARRANGE ALL THE MUSIC,
WORKING MAINLY WITH VOICE AND DRUMS AS PHYSICAL INSTRUMENTS.

GIALLO SANGUE IS BUILT ON HUNDREDS OF LAYERED VOICES & RHYTHM, MOVING BETWEEN A CAPPELLA PIECES, VOICE AND PERCUSSION,
AND MORE OPEN SONG FORMS, SHAPED THROUGH A MULTI INSTRUMENTALIST PROCESS.
THE PROJECT IS ALIVE AND FLUID, CONSTANTLY CROSSING MUSIC, VISUAL ART AND PHYSICAL SPACE.
A SUBTLE SENSE OF IRONY RUNS THROUGH THE WORK, ACROSS MUSIC AND LYRICS,
WITH IMPERFECTIONS AND UNPLANNED MOMENTS BECOMING PART OF THE SOUND.
GIALLO SANGUE IS ALSO A COLOR I CREATED, A “CHORAL COLOR”,
THE JOY OF INHABITING SPACES WITHOUT FIXED BOUNDARIES, WHERE OPPOSITES, AS FEMALE & MALE, NATURE & ABSTRACTION, DISSOLVE

The first core of the project took shape through early phone ‘a cappella’ recordings made in
a warm, small wooden living room and in a bathroom in Roma Est in Winter 2021
FIRING MY HEART, STONE, NEW SONG, MARE and NEW SONG 2 took shape
at night through improvisation at Harbor Studios, NYC in Fall & Winter 2025,
containing the wonder of a dream and the roots of reality.
